The journey of an Idea since its inception until its implementation, its “translation” into a product / service and its spread all over the world is long and difficult with many variations. Dimitra has segmented it into phases which are complementary and non-linear so as to be able to support General Managers-Entrepreneurs and all the people that constitute organizations to simplify it and to be able to manage their ideas effectively having as guide their own Vantage Angle!

This framework has been derived by integrating my scientific and experiential knowledge. From my experiences in various professional and non-professional fields and actions. It has emerged by combining my dots with Nature’s dots.

Nature has a special place in each stage / phase of this journey. I strongly believe that it’ s the ultimate tool to support those who decide to start the journey of their idea to be in a state of well-being, to be creative, to be inspired and to exploit it’s dynamics so as to produce a result that can change people’s lives and “green” their hearts.

If someone manages to get in the process of converting an idea into a product / service then this is a great achievement. But not complete. If it isn’t promoted in the right way in the world then nobody will know about it and therefore the idea will not produce value. The presentation of the deliverable of the project entitled “Implementation of my Idea” can and should take different forms depending on the target-group the product/service is addressed. The idea’s content is the same but it takes different forms.

The process of developing an idea is a complex one, but it involves much challenge and suspense. It is not enough just to think you have a good idea. This should be reflected in a piece of paper, to take shape and to be integrated into a business model that creates value and designates our modus operandi. It needs time, patience, perseverance, focus and dedication. It also requires relative knowledge, as well as trusted partners.

The transition from the Idea’s configuration to Idea’s implementation demands the existence of a capable General Manager. No one is born as capable General Manager but can be transformed by the appropriate experiential education. And if someone really wants his/her idea to have duration then he/she should constantly evolve so as to be able to monitor every aspect, to have the ability to respond to change and to take the appropriate risks.
